After School Programs offered by Refugee Women's Alliance at Seattle World School

Provides after-school tutoring and homework help to middle and high school ELL (English Language Learner) students at Seattle World School.   Students receive academic assistance supported by bilingual instructors and content area specialists in math and English.   Each student works to increase English proficiency and grade level mastery in their core classes.

Provides culturally and linguistically appropriate services to the refugee and immigrant communities, including public benefits assistance, domestic violence and sexual assault victims services, citizenship assistance, ESL classes, employment training and services, mental health counseling, early childhood education program, parent education program, youth programs, a legal clinic, and other services designed to assist with cultural transition.
