Support Groups - Thurston County offered by Al-Anon/Alateen - District 9 and 10
Offers a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems. Purpose of Al-anon is to help families of alcoholics by practicing the Twelve Steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic. Alateen, is a fellowship of young people whose lives have been affected by alcoholism in a family member or close friend. Many meetings are closed to protect the anonymity of the teen.
