Medical Care for Homeless Youth offered by Neighborcare Health's 45th Street Clinic
Operates drop-in homeless youth clinics. Offers confidential health services, including treatment for general illness, physical exams, sexually transmitted infections including HIV, mental health counseling, pregnancy testing, lice, birth control, scabies, confidential HIV testing, injuries and gender-affirming care. Also provides case management; helps clients enroll in ORCA Lift; offers dental care referrals; helps connect clients to PrEP. Coordinates with Bastyr University to provide alternative medicine services, including naturopathic and acupuncture care.

Eligibility
Youth ages 12-26 who are currently homeless or have been homeless at some point in the last 12 months, or who do not have a stable, permanent, safe place to live. Under Washington state law, students ages 17 and younger can register themselves without parental consent for some confidential care, including reproductive health services and mental health counseling.

Operates nearly 30 sites in Seattle, Vashon Island and Olympia that provide general medical care, dental care, integrated behavioral health, social services, insurance enrollment assistance, and midwifery care. Not all services offered at all locations. Three sites coordinate a drop-in homeless youth clinic. Another is a site of WIC. Additionally one site serves only homeless adult, and they have school-based health centers in 15 Seattle and Vashon schools. Apple Health/Medicaid, Medicare and most insurance plans accepted. Insurance is not required. Discounts available and no one is turned away if unable to pay.
