Counseling and Behavioral Health Services offered at Catholic Charities Serving Central WA on D Street

Offers a range of services to assist with the challenges of daily living and the effects of stress on mood, behavior, and mental health. Services provided include individual and group counseling, services for children 5 and under with Autism Spectrum Disorder, psychiatric services, medication management, and CRISIS care. Child, Adult & Family Counseling: offers counseling services to people of all ages (children, teens, adults, and seniors); provides individual counseling, couple counseling, family counseling, or group therapy; Wraparound With Intensive Services (WISe), which provides intensive wraparound mental health services to support the child and family. The focus of WISe is to develop an individualized care plan based on strengths and needs that respect your child and family on a weekly basis. Autism Services for Children: applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which is a kindergarten readiness program for children ages 2-6, who have autism. Psychiatric and Medication Management: therapists, case managers, peers, and physicians work together to provide treatment and support to help alleviate symptoms, manage chronic symptoms, and enhance recovery for people who suffer from mental health or substance abuse disorders. Helps with stabilizing medications, teaching social and living skills, and by offering help with employment and day-to-day activities.

Fee

Accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid), private insurance, and offers a sliding fee for clients who do not have managed care or insurance coverage.

Eligibility

Counseling is for people of all ages. WISe: Children do not need a diagnosis to obtain a referral. Referrals can come from another agency or can be a self-referral. Catholic Charities WISe services are available to Medicaid eligible children from birth to age 5 who are: experiencing challenging behaviors, in need of more intensive, flexible, and individualized treatment for the child and family; involved with multiple systems (i.e., mental health, developmental disabilities; protective Services or foster care, Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers, Early Childhood Intervention and Prevention Services (ECLIPSE), or other educational services and supports). Contact Catholic Charities and ask for Counseling Records and Registration for more information about WISe referrals. ABA: For children ages 2-5, who have autism. Must have an ABA prescription from doctor, diagnosis of autism, and a referral. Call for a complete list of documents.
