Out of School Time Program by Ballinger Homes offered by Center for Human Services at Ballinger Homes
Offers a free after-school and summer program currently only for youth residents of King County Housing Authority (KCHA) in the Ballinger Homes Community. Provides a free after-school program with recreational activities, tutoring and homework assistance. Supports the academic and social emotional potential of youth by offering a structured program where students have access to resources, activities, and positive adult support. Offers a safe, supportive and welcoming environment including healthy snacks. Helps all participating youth to become well-rounded, contributing members of their communities. Provides meaningful opportunities for youth voice, leadership, and service learning. Students are encouraged to complete homework with mentors and participate in enrichment, recreation; physical fitness and life skills activities.
