Therapy offered by King County Sexual Assault Resource Center
Treats the trauma of sexual or child physical abuse through - Trauma-specific counseling - Parent education program - Parent-Child Interaction Training. The main goals of treatment are symptom reduction and trauma integration. Trauma is the primary focus, and may also encompass treating not only symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety, but also other related issues resulting from the abuse. Most clients complete therapy in an average of 16-20 sessions.

Call the Resource Line. After speaking with a client care specialist, you may be referred to a therapist for a clinical assessment.
Fee
Accepts Medicaid, most private insurance, private pay. There are some pro-bono slots for those who are un-insured.
Eligibility
Victims of sexual assault as well as parents and guardians. Therapy can be related to a recent sexual assault or one that may have occurred in previous years. Therapy may also be provided to victims of child physical abuse.
