Support Group Meetings offered by Gamblers Anonymous
Provides 12-step recovery programs for compulsive gamblers and others who believe they may have a gambling problem. Self-help methods are stressed in recognizing compulsive gambling as an emotional problem. Program is used to gain abstinence and improved daily living. Methods include emphasis on sponsorship, critical thinking and problem solving, and gaining one's own enhanced spiritual values. Goals include attainment of serenity and abstinence. Gam-anon meetings for family and support persons are held at some locations. Meeting locations are held throughout Washington State.
