HopeSparks Family Services

We strengthen families by inspiring courage and confidence to make a lasting change. Our five core programs are: Behavioral Health Counseling: Providing crucial mental health services to children, adults and families. Our focus is on the treatment of children who have experienced abuse and trauma. We also focus on strengthening the entire family by including caregivers in treatment and see caregiver support as the key to success. This is evidenced by the success of our parenting programs and the successful results of our evidenced based treatments. Relatives Raising Children: Provides support, information, resources and advocacy to strengthen caregivers who have assumed responsibility for children not theirs by birth. Services are available to Pierce County residents at no cost. Children's Developmental Services: Offers development assessment and individualized education plans for children ages birth to 3 with developmental delays. Included in our program are speech and occupational therapy, literacy, motor skill and sensory development. Bilingual Services available. Family Support Services: In home assistance, goal setting, parent education and more. We focus on helping at risk families learn to become self-sufficient. With a supportive home environment, every child in Pierce County can be school ready and academically and socially successful.
