Counseling Services offered at Harborview Abuse & Trauma Center in Bellevue
Provides assessment, brief counseling and support for victims and their non-offending family members affected by traumatic events. Initial appointment addresses concerns, provides information and support, assesses symptoms and helps make a plan for the future. Crisis counseling is available after hours through Harborview emergency room. A social worker will provide crisis intervention and make counseling referrals and appointments.

Accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid), crime victims compensation, most private insurance and Medicare. Low-income patients may be eligible for free services.

Child and adult victims affected by traumatic events such as - Child abuse and neglect - Sexual assault - Crime - Exposure to domestic and community violence - Accidents - Disasters Non-offending family members are also eligible for services.

Harborview Abuse & Trauma Center
Provides medical care, psychosocial evaluations and counseling for victims of sexual assault and trauma. Also offers treatment for families focused on reducing child behavioral problems. Contracts with the state to provide the Foster Care Assessment Program, which provides comprehensive assessments of a foster child's level of functioning in the home, school, and community and assists with service planning and implementation.
