Personal and Educational Development Programs offered by Boys & Girls Clubs of King County in Federal Way

Power Hour and Tutoring is a homework assistance and tutoring program available in the club library for youth in grades 1-8. Computer Lab offers computer skills classes and open usage for Club members in grades 1-12.  Project Learn is a hands-on tutoring and mentoring program available in schools.  Homework, field trips and higher education activities are available for grades 1-12.

Hours

M-F, 6:30am-7pm. Homework assistance and tutoring: M-Th, 4-5pm.

Application process

To purchase a membership, all youth must attend a 15 minute orientation with their parent or guardian. Orientations cover Club rules, expectations, programs and offer a Club tour.  Orientations take 15 minutes and are offered Monday-Friday between 2:30pm-6:45pm and on Saturday by appointment. Fee

Membership dues are $50 per program year and are required for Club access and all program participants; dues include medical and liability insurance.  There are no additional program fees for personal and educational development programs.

Eligibility

Power Hour and Tutoring: Youth in grades 1-8. Computer Lab: Club members in grades 1-12.  Project Learn: Grades 1-12.
