Senior Services offered at Catholic Charities of Walla Walla

Provides basic in-home assistance to low-income elders and adults with disabilities to help them continue living independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes. Only local rides; no work-related transportation. Volunteers can provide services such as: -  Local transportation for appointments and errands (no long distance) -  Yard work -  Light housekeeping and laundry -  Snow shoveling -  Minor home repairs (door handle replacement, light bulb replacement, broken board on a ramp, or replacing an old step for example) -  Wheelchair ramps -  Wood provision -  Communication

M-F, 9am-5pm.

Application process

New clients will be mailed an intake welcome packet and consent form to be filled out and returned. This will take a few days, therefore does not provide emergency transportation or services.

None.

Eligibility

You can request services if you are:   -  Over the age of 60 and low income -  Between the ages of 18 and 60, low-income and disabled
