Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program offered at Seattle Children's - Odessa Brown Clinic

Provides evaluation and treatment services for children and adolescents, ages birth through 18. Services include comprehensive psychiatric assessment, brief intervention treatment, medication evaluation and management, short-term evidence-informed therapies, and skill-based group programs.  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) program is offered for adolescents with self-harm behavior and includes individual and group therapy.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Application process

Primary care provider submits a referral. Referrals are also accepted from school districts, community agencies, private physicians, psychologists or parents.

Fee

Accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid), private insurance, self pay and contracts.  Financial aid is available for families without insurance.

Provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for children and adolescents with diverse mental health disorders. Operates specialty clinics for children with eating disorders, attention deficit disorder, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and other psychiatric issues. Services include diagnostic evaluation, evidence-informed therapies, medication treatment and skill-based groups for parents and children/teens. Special populations include those with chronic medical conditions, deafness, DBT program and evaluation and treatment of children ages 0-5.
