A team of warm and responsive peer advocates operate the resource center. They will help you access LGBTQ+ affirming services such as medical, mental health, legal, and reduced-fee public transportation resources.

Community Resource Center: Helpline and Online Resource Database offered by Gay City: Seattle's LGBTQ Center

Connects individuals to resources and local organizations that primarily serve the LGBTQ+ communities; referral opportunities include medical, mental health, chemical dependency, employment, education, recreation and legal resources.

Programs that maintain information about community resources that are appropriate for a specific target group or human services sector (for example, youth programs or addiction services) and which link individuals who are in need of specialized services with appropriate resources and/or which provide information about community agencies and organizations that offer specialized services.

Specialized Information and Referral

Programs that provide immediate assistance for individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer,  
two-spirit or as part of other communities such as those in the process of coming out or questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity, and/or their friends and families. Included may be short-term emotional support, resources and community referrals. The service is generally free and confidential and may offer peer support. Helpline staff are generally available via telephone, email, chat and/or text.

LGBTQ2+ Helplines

Organizations that support the passage and enforcement of laws and other social measures that protect and promote the rights and interests of individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two-spirit, or otherwise as part of the gender and sexually expansive community.

LGBTQ2+ Advocacy Groups

Programs that issue identification cards that people can use in lieu of cash to pay for mass transit services.
