Provides general legal and cultural advocacy, emergency services, safety planning, secondary victim and survivor support, and community education for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.

Tailors the curriculum to fit specific needs, topics Include: -  Understanding Domestic Violence & Effective Interventions -  Impact of Abusive Behavior on Children -  Teen Dating Violence (for teens, for parents, or for teachers/counselors)

Provides emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis intervention, support groups, information & referrals, and free confidential victim advocacy for domestic violence victims. Also provides free prevention and community education opportunities, including presentations, training, outreach events, brochures and other written materials.

Offers trainings and workshops for teens regarding the issues of sexual assault and dating violence. Topics include: -  Dating and domestic violence -  Sexual assault, healthy relationships (gangs, family, dating, etc.) -  Anti-oppression -  Cultural competency -  Belief systems -  Stereotypes -  Alcohol -  Conflict resolution

Offers a comprehensive safety course for women designed to train in prevention measures and adds a hands-on self-defense training. Class instructors will teach striking techniques as well as break away tactics.  

Provides community education on domestic violence, teen/dating violence and healthy relationships, and domestic violence prevention.

Coordinates weekly activities for area youth.   - Youth Council meets monthly to discuss community awareness projects. - Study Zone is an after-school homework help and study center that meets twice per week where students can access computers and a printer. - Offers teen trips during the school year and during the summer.   - Coordinates DateWise, a program dedicated to promoting healthy relationships and dating violence awareness.

Provides a primary prevention program for sexual assault, violence, and crimes. Also provides community presentations, which are offered in an age appropriate manner and are directed toward the prevention of sexual violence.

Coordinates educational activities and recruits volunteers. Presenters are available to speak about issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, crisis intervention, and more. People with good communication skills and an interest in working with people are invited to volunteer. Volunteers are given training and supervision to prepare them to work in the areas of domestic violence or sexual assault.
