Partial Hospitalization (PHP): The partial hospitalization program (PHP) offers structured day-treatment that allows the individual to live at home while accessing services. Programming addresses the underlying causes of addiction for those who do not meet ASAM criteria requiring medical detoxification or twenty-four-hour supervision. Individuals will attend programming every weekday at the center and spend nights and weekends at home. This will allow a transition into a sober lifestyle at a structured and slower pace. This type of structured programming caters to individuals who require a higher level of care than what a standard outpatient program is able to provide. PHP allows individuals to focus on themselves and begin the healing process. PHP includes six hours of programming per day, five days per week at the center.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP): The intensive outpatient program, also referred to as IOP, offers structured day-treatment that allows the individual to live at home while accessing services. Programming addresses the underlying causes of addiction for those who do not meet ASAM criteria requiring medical detoxification, twenty-four-hour supervision or structured programming at the PHP level of care. IOP allows the individual to address the causes and consequences of his/her addiction while learning skills to prevent relapse. Groups are both process-driven and educational, providing the individual an opportunity to acquire and implement strategies to maintain recovery. IOP requires a minimum of nine hours or more of treatment each week at the center.
Outpatient (OP): The outpatient program, also referred to as OP or Aftercare, offers structured day-treatment that allows the individual to live at home while accessing services. Intensive Outpatient Program - IOP offered at Royal Life Centers LLC at Sound Recovery Lacey
Offers the second stage of the 12-week program, the intensive outpatient portion, a less restrictive level of care with phases that allow guests to smoothly transition into more responsibility.
Operates an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that is the second stage of the 12-week aftercare program.
IOP is composed of two phases to afford guests a smooth transition throughout the entirety of the aftercare program.
Following a 4-week period in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), guests begin the first 4-week period of intensive outpatient.
During phase one of IOP, guests participate in group therapy sessions Monday through Friday for 3 hours a day.
Following the completion of phase one, guests move on to phase two of IOP which consists of 3 group therapy sessions per week, 3 hours per day.
Through their time in intensive outpatient, guests attend weekly individual therapy sessions. During their one-on-one sessions, guests hone the skills learned throughout their time at Royal and participate in job readiness training that covers resume building, interview skills, and job placement.
IOP provides education, resources, and skills that prepare guests for a life of recovery outside of the facility.
Program incorporates only evidence-based treatments, highlighted in all areas of our programming: individual and group therapy, psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, recreational opportunities, relapse prevention, education on gender-specific issues, trauma resolution, grief and loss, anger management, depression, and 12-step meetings.
Uses a comprehensive approach to IOP that is a collaborative and all-encompassing treatment aimed to heal inspire mental, physical, and spiritual change in the lives of guests. Incorporating many different therapies— from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) to activity and adventure therapy— is the best technique to identify the best course of treatment for each guest.
Integrates the personalities and needs of each guest into their treatment— does not place guests in pre-determined, pre-scheduled groups. Instead, guests work closely with their primary therapist to develop an Individual Service Plan (ISP) to meet their unique needs, and with their case manager to learn about the community resources available to them.
Please keep in mind, as a treatment center guided by a strong mission and vision, Royal Life Centers has a policy that restricts guests from attending their treatment programs more than twice. If you have already been through the treatment program in full, they will work day and night to find a facility that will better suit your needs and goals in recovery. They want to see you have success in sobriety, even if they are not the right program for you— they will help you find one that is. This policy exists not because they don’t want to help you, it exists because they tried to help you and didn’t succeed. Your successful sobriety is their top priority. Because They Care.
