Provides opportunities that promote healthy physical, social, and emotional development for homeless and disadvantaged children and teens by providing education, healthy food, clothing, and programs to enable them with tools to build confidence and achieve their full potential to their own path to success. Programs and services vary throughout the year, school supplies & Christmas toys. EVCS has many programs and services youth can volunteer to earn community service hours, and to become involved in their community.

Provides general physical exams, smoking cessation, nutrition info, immunizations, contraception, treatment for minor illnesses, well baby care, and pregnancy testing.

Provides maternity case management, maternity support services, First Steps Program, assistance with breastfeeding, and childbirth education classes. Connects directly with individuals on a one-on-one basis to assess and address the needs of each individual, and to provide services according to the need. Programs include: Community Garden ( helps needy people with seeds and plants to grow at home); Benefit Services (assists with applying for SSI/SSDI, Veterans benefits, SNAP, referrals to shelters, and other services); firewood for those whose only resource is wood for cooking and heating; free ESL classes; clothing for children and families in need; computer lab; basic computer classes to learn internet skills, word, and email; and Spirit of Giving Fest, which is a free holiday meal, including caroling and games for children.

Services are offered at all YNHS clinics, and at selected shelters/homeless provider in Yakima.  Outreach services, medical respite care, transitional, and permanent supportive housing available.  

Provides outpatient primary medical care for families, prenatal care, onsite imaging, lab services, health and dental education, massage therapy, and pharmacy. Currently testing for Covid-19.
