Offers a variety of programs for all ages. Programs include acting and improvisation, ceramic art instruction, cooking, dancing, guitar lessons, gymnastics, parkour, playing games, sports, swimming and more.

Programs that provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local, regional or state level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

Arts and Crafts Instruction

Programs that provide classes or individual lessons for people who want to learn or perfect their ability to portray a variety of characters on stage or in film or television productions or commercials.

Acting Instruction

Programs that offer a wide variety of activities including arts and crafts, academic programs, sports, reading clubs, workshops and other recreational, leisure, cultural, social and civic activities for school-age children and youth in out-of-school hours. The objective of youth enrichment programs is to promote healthy social interaction and help participants maximize their social, emotional, physical and academic potential.

Cultural enrichment programs include crafts, drill team, theater workshop, dance classes and cultural heritage month celebrations.

Cultural Enrichment Programs offered by Boys & Girls Clubs of King County in North Seattle

Offers a safe, positive place for middle school and high school kids to go after school. Includes a computer lab, tutoring and mentor programs, a stage, dance floor, green room, teaching kitchen and art room. Also includes a leadership program and free meals once a week.

Teen Center offered by Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue at The Club

Drop-in center offers a safe, positive place for middle school and high school kids to go after school. Free meal provided on Thursdays. Serves youth in grades 6-12.

Programs offered by churches, restaurants and other organizations that provide meals in a central location for people who lack the resources needed to buy and prepare food. The food may be distributed to people who line up for the meal or may be served to people seated in a dining hall setting, and participants rarely need to establish eligibility for the service.

Soup Kitchens

Programs that provide opportunities for individuals of all ages to develop their leadership and management skills through participation in activities which require planning a workscope, organizing ways to achieve planned objectives, motivating members to complete tasks they have agreed to perform and evaluating the group's progress; or through training which addresses these skills.

Leadership Development

Programs that encourage new, foreign and independent filmmakers through the organization and presentation of film expositions and festivals or which show old or difficult to obtain films in noncommercial facilities, generally at somewhat reduced prices. Also included are libraries and other community organizations that show movies for children, adolescents or adults for the purpose of entertainment and movie theaters that operate on a commercial basis.

Film Presentations

Programs that provide an alternative, non-residential environment that people with any of a variety of issues can visit on an informal basis to find mutual support and access to social and recreational activities. People can drop by whenever they like without the need to make an appointment and have the option of participating in whatever activities are currently underway.

Drop In Centers

Coordinates league and tournament sports, including baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, fitness and tennis.  
Skills classes are available in many sports.  
Offers inclusive recreation programs and special events.  

Activities offered by Enumclaw Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services Department at City Hall Park

Offers a variety of youth and adult recreational programs including athletic programs and enrichment.

Programs that provide creative recreational experiences in cooperative indoor and/or outdoor group living for children, usually age four to 13, or adults who are transported to the site each morning and who return to their homes at the end of each day. Transportation may be provided by the program or may be the responsibility of the family.

Day Camps

Centers, often operated by the local community department of parks and recreation, that offer, at a single location, a variety of recreational facilities such as athletic fields and courts, a gymnasium, a swimming pool and locker facilities. Recreation centers usually offer an organized program of activities for community residents of all ages and provide all necessary equipment.
