Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County provide a year-round, building-centered, positive and safe place for all kids, helping them to acquire skills and develop qualities necessary to make the right choices and become responsible citizens and leaders.  (Affiliated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America) Activities include: sports, arts and crafts, health and life skills classes, education and career development classes, character and leadership development classes.  Call for details on specific activities, classes, field trips, and planned events. Each day, Club members are given a variety of activities and programs to choose from. Cultural enrichment programs include crafts, drill team, theater workshop, dance classes and cultural heritage month celebrations.

LevelUp Youth Academy is an entire empowerment source for underserved youth from elementary school age students through age 20. It is a pro-social Music & Arts program with curricula infused with leadership, empowerment, entrepreneurship along with prevention/intervention. All classes have a completely mobile component operating throughout King County but we also have fully-equipped recording studios in our Seattle and Federal Way offices accessible by car or public transportation. Students learn how to make beats, record rhymes, complete songs and fully produce performances.

Youth programs include a variety of recreational activities for youth.   Programs include art classes, soccer, socials.   Also offers summer camps and before- and after-school programs.

Provides before- and after-school child care programs.  Before-school program offers time for fun with friends, homework help, quiet activities, art projects, gym games, and game room activities.  A light breakfast and afternoon snack are offered daily.  The after-school program combines children by grade with a trained counselor.  Together they participate in age-appropriate activities and field trips.  Vacation child care is available for winter, spring and summer breaks.  Also offers a Pre-K program for youth ages 4-5, located at the main Ballard Boys & Girls Club location.  Clients are transported to and from school in conjunction with before- and after-school care; transportation is also provided for field trips.
