Youth Mentoring Program offered at Family Resource Center - San Juan Island
Adult "mentors" will model successful and appropriate adult behavior for young people.
In partnership with San Juan County 4-H, the San Juan Island Family Resource Center’s Youth Mentoring Program pairs Friday Harbor community members with youth who can benefit from weekly one-on-one time with a caring adult mentor and participation in 4-H clubs and activities. Whether it’s bike riding, baking cookies, doing an art project or just talking, mentoring is a way for adults and kids alike to experience quality time together and make a positive difference in each other’s lives.

Middle and high school students commit to an intensive 9 month leadership program. They help plan, facilitate, and lead Kidz Club, as well as set goals, study the Bible, visit colleges, and have fun.

LevelUp Youth Academy offered at WAPI Community Services Federal Way
Operates an alcohol and drug-free music and art education program for low-income minority youth up to age 20.
LevelUp Youth Academy is an entire empowerment source for underserved youth from elementary school age students through age 20. It is a pro-social Music & Arts program with curricula infused with leadership, empowerment, entrepreneurship along with prevention/intervention.
All classes have a completely mobile component operating throughout King County but we also have fully-equipped recording studios in our Seattle and Federal Way offices accessible by car or public transportation. Students learn how to make beats, record rhymes, complete songs and fully produce performances.
