Community and home based intensive services for youth ages 0-21 who have mental health challenges and their families.

Provides mental health treatment to children, youth, adults, and families who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.    Works with such issues as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, as well as other family stressors and transitions.   Uses a strengths-based and evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma focused CBT to tailor services to the particular strengths and needs of each of our clients. Services include:   -  Case Management -  Family Therapy -  Individual Treatment -  Recovery Support Wraparound Facilitation   -  Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Services -  School-based counseling  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Therapists and clinical interns support local children, youth, and caregivers through difficult times. The Behavioral Health Program uses a trauma and culturally responsive, evidence-based approach to address issues such as – but not limited to – depression, family conflict, trauma, and anxiety. Also facilitates a therapeutic gaming program called CoRe where Seattle middle school students play video games to cultivate communication and social emotional skills.

Interventions identify and build competencies to strengthen family functions in relationship to the individual’s identified goals. The individual may or may not be present. -  Group Therapy: services are provided to an individual in a group setting to assist them in attaining the goals described in the service plan. Compass Health provides a broad continuum of counseling services to individuals who have ongoing mental health issues and need assistance in reducing/managing symptoms and improving coping and daily living skills.  Intensity of services is based upon the needs of the individual.  Individual therapy, community support services, case management, psychiatric medication, and group services are available. Provides specialized services for children, youth and families as well as for older adults.   Dawson Place only serves child victims of sexual or physical abuse and their families.   Not all services offered at all locations. Services provided include individual and group counseling, services for children 5 and under with Autism Spectrum Disorder, psychiatric services, medication management, and CRISIS care. Child, Adult & Family Counseling: offers counseling services to people of all ages (children, teens, adults, and seniors); provides individual counseling, couple counseling, family counseling, or group therapy; Wraparound With Intensive Services (WISe), which provides intensive wraparound mental health services to support the child and family. Autism Services for Children: applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which is a kindergarten readiness program for children ages 2-6, who have autism. Psychiatric and Medication Management: therapists, case managers, peers, and physicians work together to provide treatment and support to help alleviate symptoms, manage chronic symptoms, and enhance recovery for people who suffer from mental health or substance abuse disorders. Helps with stabilizing medications, teaching social and living skills, and by offering help with employment and day-to-day activities.

After an initial assessment and determination of need for ongoing help, core mental health services available include individual and/or family counseling/therapy, medication evaluation/management and coordination with primary care physicians, and case management.

Services encourage individual and family goals while recognizing the importance of trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically responsive treatment. Provides intensive, short-term (3-5 months) home, school, and community-based services to adolescents and their families who are experiencing family conflicts, troubles in school, contact with juvenile justice system, mental health issues, anti-social behavior, and/or are or have been involved with Child Welfare. Designed to build improved positive relationships, improved school functioning, and decrease negative behavior and involvement with the legal system. Provides the client and family services 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, when and where those services are needed. Program may involve family therapy, marital therapy, individual treatment, case management, crisis stabilization, psychiatric medication, evaluations of the youth's peer network, consultation with schools and other service providers, and liaison activities with the schools, courts, and mental health providers. Agency provides state-certified service(s).

Builds healthy Navy families and sustains a strong Navy community through comprehensive approaches in prevention, intervention and training for individuals, families, and commands.     - **Counseling Program** - individual, couple and family counseling for active duty, retirees (space available) and their families.    - **Family Advocacy Program**  offers an opportunity for individuals and families to learn how to better handle issues of violence within relationships and families.     - **Victim Advocacy Program** offers confidential support and assistance for victims of domestic violence.     - **New Parent Support Program** - primary prevention program designed to assist new parents with regard to issues surrounding newborns, parenting, and family relationships. Offers an adult only mental health facility that provides multiple services which include individual, family and group therapy, case management, Peer Support delivered by Certified Peer Counselors and Therapeutic Psychoeducation. Crisis support is provided by Therapists and Case Managers during business hours. Medication Management and Medication Monitoring services will be referred to the Lakewood office. This clinic serves all populations with accommodations needed to make the service accessible and meaningful through Mental Health Specialists and interpreters to promote recovery. Community-based counseling center provides a wide range of social, psychological, and readjustment services. Readjustment counseling helps veterans make a successful transition from military to civilian life or after a traumatic event experienced in the military. Offers Individual, group, marriage and family counseling as well as referrals and connections to other VA or community benefits and services. Vet Center counselors and outreach staff, many of whom are Veterans themselves, are experienced and prepared to discuss the tragedies of war, loss, grief and transition after trauma. Services for a Veteran may include individual and group counseling in areas such as bereavement, military sexual trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), alcohol and drug assessment, and suicide prevention referrals.
