Provides professional mental health counseling, family therapy, case management and psychiatric support services to low-income, high-risk area children and youth and their families.
Therapists and clinical interns support local children, youth, and caregivers through difficult times. The Behavioral Health Program uses a trauma and culturally responsive, evidence-based approach to address issues such as – but not limited to – depression, family conflict, trauma, and anxiety. Also facilitates a therapeutic gaming program called CoRe where Seattle middle school students play video games to cultivate communication and social emotional skills.
