Provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. The Lifeline is comprised of a national network of over 200 local crisis centers, combining custom local care and resources with national standards and best practices. Veterans can call the hotline and press 1 to reach the Veterans Hotline and speak confidentially with a counselor through a program developed in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs. American Indians and Alaska Natives can text NATIVE to 741741 to connect with someone at the Native and Strong Helpline.

Operates the primary telephone access point for all those in King County experiencing an emotional crisis.   Trained volunteer phone workers assist callers in personal crises by offering emotional support as well as community resource information and referral. A crisis may involve threats of violence, thoughts of despair or suicide, relationship troubles or any other situation which causes emotional distress.   Those not in emotional crises may also call to learn about counseling and other mental health care resources.   Connection to professional responders when needed, including: - Mobile Crisis Teams (MCT) - Designated Crisis Responders (DCR) (i.e. outreach and involuntary commitment) - Children's Crisis Outreach Response System (CCORS), a service of YMCA - Next Day Mental Health Appointments (NDA)

Provides a confidential helpline for youth and young adults concerned about their own or a friend's sexual thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. Offers support, guidance, and resources.

Provides a helpline giving information about benefits, PTSD, substance use disorders, anger management issues, and counseling in regard to suicidal thoughts.

Operates a peer support phone service and suicide prevention helpline for trans people who are experiencing a crisis. This includes those who may be struggling with or questioning their gender identity. Offers emotional support as well as information and referral. Hotline is staffed exclusively by trans identified volunteers. Also provides peer support for friends, partners, family members and professionals supporting trans loved ones and community members.

Offers a nightly confidential help line and an online chat service for teens, staffed by professionally trained youth, ages 15-20.   Help line and chat service offer youth an anonymous, non-judgmental, safe place to vent anger, express fears and anxieties, seek comfort and support, and obtain information about community resources. Teen Link works with the Recovery Help Line to provide emotional support and referrals to youth dealing with substance abuse, problem gambling, or mental health needs across Washington state. Publishes the annual Where to Turn for Teens youth resource guide. Copies may be requested by completing an online request form on the Teen Link website. Operates a confidential and anonymous phone line that youth can call to talk about issues such as peer pressure, trouble at home, drug abuse, stress, bullying, depression, suicidal thoughts, problems in relationships and others. Refers callers to additional resources for ongoing support.

Operates the only nationwide 24-hour, toll-free suicide prevention and crisis intervention hotline dedicated to the needs of LGBTQ youth and young adults. Additionally offers a safe, nonjudgmental place to talk through chat and text. Trevor Support Center provides online information about preventing suicide as well as answers to questions unique to LGBTQ youth and young adults.

Operates a crisis intervention suicide hotline. Trained phone workers assist caller in personal crises by offering emotional support, community resource information, and referral.

Provides a crisis intervention line. Additionally provides support and referrals around such topics as dealing with bad test grades, running away from home, homelessness, a recent breakup, depression, anxiety, bullying, pregnancy, self-harm, or substance use disorders.
