STARS Co-Occurring Intensive Outpatient Services provides a full range of mental health and substance use disorder treatment services in coordination with STARS Sobering, Withdrawal Management, and Residential programs. Outpatient team consists of dedicated professionals who provide: comprehensive behavioral health and mental health assessments, individualized treatment plans, group and individual therapy sessions, case management, discharge and aftercare planning, psychiatric medication evaluation and management services.

Provides a full-service behavioral health agency with services including medically assisted detoxification, substance use treatment, a residential program for substance use treatment, mental health outpatient treatment, a co-occurring disorder (i.e. mental health and substance use disorder), comprehensive outpatient substance use treatment, supported housing and employment, and sober living. Specializes in treatment for those addicted to opioids and alcohol by offering medication to assist in the recovery process. The Deaf and hard of hearing substance use treatment program is one of only a handful in the country.

Provides assessment and admission for inpatient and outpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment in a welcoming and safe environment. Offers a variety of programs including medication management, detox, addiction treatment, family education, holistic therapies (art, yoga, music), care planning, depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress, psychosis, ADHD, and co-occurring disorders.

Provides telehealth and case management services for medically assisted drug detoxification with the medication buprenorphine-naloxone. Online peer support groups offered. Also treats co-occurring mental health diagnoses.

Coordination of care with primary care physicians, social services, and court systems. Provides monthly status reports of patient's progress in treatment to courts or other referral sources. Also provides a variety of ancillary services (tuberculosis testing, HIV testing, hepatitis C education, medication monitoring, etc.).

Services include: Outpatient evaluation, treatment and counseling; DUI assessments; Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP); relapse prevention/aftercare programs; Deferred Prosecution Program; Department of Licensing requirements; Alcohol/Drug Information School (A/DIS); youth/adolescent services; bilingual English/Spanish services; community education; Employee Assistance Program; patient placement criteria evaluations; and sliding fee scale for services. Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).
