Classes and Support Groups offered at Recovery Café in SODO
Operates a recovery support center, which uses an alternative therapeutic community model focusing on long-term support. Provides a range of recovery support groups and classes for those recovering from alcohol addiction, drug addiction, mental illness and homelessness.
Recovery Café provides a welcoming, safe, drug and alcohol free space, daily meals, and loving community to anchor Members in the sustained recovery needed to gain and maintain access to housing, social and health services, healthy relationships, education and employment. This includes support meetings, classes, and community events like open mic nights, holiday celebrations, and cultural events. Each location is open 5 days a week and serves two meals a day (breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner).
Recovery Café is separate from 12 Step Programs (AA or NA), however, there are 12 Step Meetings held in our buildings throughout the week.
We are a Membership organization. Membership is free; you are asked to be drug and alcohol free when you are in the community space, be respectful/give back in the community, and attend a weekly Recovery Circle. Guests are allowed to visit the Café 3 times before they need to attend New Member Introduction and join a Recovery Circle.

Mental Health and Substance Use Counseling offered by Friends of Youth in North Bend
Offers outpatient substance use disorder treatment services including DUI assessments, counseling and Alcohol & Drug Information School for YOUTH AGES 11-21.
Services and support for individuals between the ages of four and 24 with outpatient individual, family, and group counseling, as well as prevention and intervention services. Services encourage individual and family goals while recognizing the importance of trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically responsive treatment. Our highly trained counselors help youth identify inherent strengths to help them achieve their goals.

Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment, & Domestic Violence Treatment offered at Serenity Atlas Counseling
Provides alcohol & drug information school, DUI assessments, outpatient substance use disorder treatment services as well as intensive outpatient treatment.
Offers dual diagnosis therapy, relapse prevention program, deferred prosecution, adolescent programs, group and individual counseling, intervention services, faith-based groups, aftercare, self-help support groups as well as free consultations.
Alcohol & Drug Information School
State-approved instruction fulfills legal requirements for individuals court-referred to attend an Alcohol Drug Information School (ADIS).
The educational, 8-hour course provides students with valuable information about alcohol and other drugs.
The course is designed to enhance responsible decision-making with regards to alcohol and other drug use.
Students are encouraged to explore the effects of alcohol and other drug use on themselves, their families and their world.
DUI Evaluations
Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate treatment.
Victim's Impact Panel
Panels include a comprehensive audio/visual presentation including personal stories from victims who have been seriously injured or had family members killed by those driving under the influence of alcohol.
The presenters share information about the impact of their losses physically, emotionally and financially as a result of the actions of the drunk driver.
The climate of the panel is not accusatory or blaming in tone but rather is focused on helping those with a DUI offense on their record realize the unintended trauma their choices may have on other people.
Outpatient Treatment
Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires fewer than nine hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development).
Length of service can be anywhere between six months to two years depending on the needs of the individual and/or court order.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires 9-20 hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development).
Agency provides state-certified service(s).

School-Based Health Services offered at Roosevelt Teen Health Center by Neighborcare Health
Provides basic health services including treatment of simple illnesses and injuries, family planning, physical exams and health education. Must be a student at clinic school.
Offers a comprehensive scope of health services to youth and adolescents including:
- Asthma care
- Immunizations
- Treatment of simple illnesses and injuries
- Referral and follow-up for serious illness and emergencies
- Family planning
- Physical exams
- Health education
Dental screening and services provided at some sites through portable dental equipment.
In addition to addressing health care concerns, they also promote good health for a lifetime through good nutrition education, supportive relationships, and reinforcement of positive self-images. School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) are operated by a system of community health care partners and agencies to deliver health services to schools in King County.
