Food Programs offered at Pacific Community Center

Offers a lunch for seniors and a lunch for the general community.

Programs that provide hot meals on a regular basis primarily for older adults who may be at risk for nutritional deficits and social isolation without assistance. Congregate meals are often combined with recreational, educational and social activities, and programs may include access to health services and/or information. Some programs are also open to caregivers, spouses and/or adults with disabilities.

Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites

Programs offered by churches, restaurants and other organizations that provide meals in a central location for people who lack the resources needed to buy and prepare food. The food may be distributed to people who line up for the meal or may be served to people seated in a dining hall setting, and participants rarely need to establish eligibility for the service.

Feed the Hungry Program offered at Catholic Community Services - Grays Harbor Family Center

Provides a hot lunch served M- F, noon-12:45pm in the St. Mary Parish Center.

Offers a free meal to low-income individuals, families, and seniors on Wednesday evenings from 5pm-6pm.

Care Kitchen offered at Christian Life Center

Offers a free meal to low-income individuals, families, and seniors once a week. Meal dates can vary during the summer. Please call first.

Food banks, food pantries, meal preparation programs and other similar organizations that are actively seeking individuals with the requisite skills who are willing to support food distribution and meal programs on a voluntary basis without remuneration. Also included are farming operations that are seeking volunteers who are willing to do farm work (tilling/planting/cultivating/harvesting).
