Charlotte House provides a domestic violence hotline, as well as a 24-hour secure shelter and/or services for women and children who are survivors of family violence. Clients may stay at the shelter for up to 30 days, with the possibility of extension. Clients receive assistance obtaining food, clothing, medical care, transportation, and other needs. Confidential services include legal and medical advocacy, counseling, and information and referral. Advocates work with residents to develop a plan of action that is unique to each individual's/family's needs.

YWCA Kitsap County operates a 13-bed confidential emergency shelter for victims and their children fleeing an immediately dangerous situation due to domestic violence.
