Recovery resources offered by Alcoholics Anonymous' Greater Seattle Intergroup
Coordinates 12-step support groups throughout King County, including gender separate meetings, as well as special groups for Native Americans, Spanish speakers and those who identify as LGBTQ. Operates a 24-hour helpline.

Some meetings have interpreters for individuals who are hard of hearing. Potential members should call to be matched to the nearest group.
PUBLICATIONS:
- Guides listing all AA meetings may be picked up at the Seattle or Eastside offices.
- To receive a meeting guide by mail, send a self-addressed envelope and $1 to the same address.
GENERAL AA MEETINGS:
- More than 1,300 weekly groups are held in all cities in King County.

STI Diagnosis and Treatment offered by Public Health - Seattle & King County's Sexual Health Clinic
Offers diagnosis and treatment of patients with a sexually transmitted disease and their sexual contacts. Staff are sensitive to the needs of LGBTQ individuals. Evaluates patients for PrEP.
Offers diagnosis and treatment of patients with sexually transmitted infections (STI) and their sexual contacts.
Routinely tests those aged 24 and under for:
- Gonorrhea
- Chlamydia
- Syphilis
- HIV
Individuals, ages 25 and older, are tested based on their risks and STD symptoms. Clients are also offered a blood test for herpes simplex virus-2 (HSV-2), the most common cause of genital herpes. All persons wishing HSV-2 testing will be charged $30 for the test; the clinic cannot provide the blood test at no cost. Those with herpes-like sores can have the sores tested at no cost.
Additionally evaluates clients for pre-exposure prophylaxis, which is a single pill people take every day that reduces their chances of getting HIV if they are HIV-negative.

Provides a hotline focusing on Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQ+ individuals who have experienced harmful, physical, and inappropriate contact with police and vigilantes.
Operates a hotline focusing on Black, Black LGBTQI, Brown, Native, and Muslim community who have experienced harmful, physical, and inappropriate contact with police and vigilantes.
Provides an anonymous and confidential avenue to report interactions and referrals to resources. Volunteers are trained to listen and affirm the experiences of anyone who may have experienced a negative interaction with law enforcement, consumer service (restaurants and stores), or vigilante contact. Volunteer opportunities are available.

Community Resource Center: Helpline and Online Resource Database offered by Gay City: Seattle's LGBTQ Center
Connects individuals to resources and local organizations that primarily serve the LGBTQ+ communities; referral opportunities include medical, mental health, chemical dependency, employment, education, recreation and legal resources.
A team of warm and responsive peer advocates operate the resource center. They will help you access LGBTQ+ affirming services such as medical, mental health, legal, and reduced-fee public transportation resources.

Provides prevention, advocacy, and leadership programming for LGBTQ youth ages 11-24. Offers a safe space to hang out, meet friends, get support, and learn about life skills and healthy relationships. Offers a middle school program, Project 13, for ages 11-14.
