STI Diagnosis and Treatment offered by Public Health - Seattle & King County's Sexual Health Clinic
Offers diagnosis and treatment of patients with a sexually transmitted disease and their sexual contacts. Staff are sensitive to the needs of LGBTQ individuals. Evaluates patients for PrEP.
Offers diagnosis and treatment of patients with sexually transmitted infections (STI) and their sexual contacts.
Routinely tests those aged 24 and under for:
- Gonorrhea
- Chlamydia
- Syphilis
- HIV
Individuals, ages 25 and older, are tested based on their risks and STD symptoms. Clients are also offered a blood test for herpes simplex virus-2 (HSV-2), the most common cause of genital herpes. All persons wishing HSV-2 testing will be charged $30 for the test; the clinic cannot provide the blood test at no cost. Those with herpes-like sores can have the sores tested at no cost.
Additionally evaluates clients for pre-exposure prophylaxis, which is a single pill people take every day that reduces their chances of getting HIV if they are HIV-negative.

Family Planning and Sexual Health Clinic offered by Public Health in Seattle & King County at Auburn Health Center
Provides a variety of birth control methods including emergency contraception as well as long lasting contraception. Offers pregnancy tests and pregnancy counseling. Screens and tests for STIs. Offers PrEP. Tests for reproductive cancers.
Provides most types of birth control. Includes emergency contraception (Plan B) as well as IUDs and implants.
Provides cervical cancer (pap smear and HPV test), breast cancer and testicular cancer exams and other physical exams relating to reproductive health.
Provides pregnancy tests as well as pregnancy options counseling, which includes information about parenting, adoption, and abortion.
Tests for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV.
Provides PrEP services. PrEP is a daily medication that is highly effective at preventing HIV.
Provides DoxyPEP, a medication to prevent gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis after unprotected sex.
Free condoms and other safer sex items.

Provides anonymous and confidential HIV/STI testing for LGBTQ+ identifying individuals 14 and older; information and access to PrEP; and Medicaid/WA Apple Health enrollment, call or visit website to set appointment.
Provides anonymous and confidential HIV/STI testing six days per week. Testing includes Rapid HIV Testing (finger poke), HIV antibody testing, and screening for syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea and Hep C.
For those unable to access Gay City’s in-person services, we also offer At-Home Testing throughout King County.
