First Steps Helps meet the medical and social service needs of pregnant women covered by Medicaid. Registered nurses, registered dietitians, behavioral health specialists, community health workers, and infant case managers teach and support women throughout their pregnancy and up to two months post-partum. Offers infant case management until the baby’s first birthday by providing parents with information and linkage to community resources such as medical, social, educational, and environmental services.

Offers diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, family planning, routine physical examinations and family medicine.   Offers mental health counseling. Laboratory services are available.  Also offers diabetes education. Refers to specialty, laboratory and diagnostic testing services and treatment when appropriate. Pharmacy services including mail order refills is available on site at all locations, except Renton.

Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) is a community based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive health care services to residents of Kitsap County. Offers quality low-cost care for children and adults. Services include physical examinations, immunizations, family planning, nutrition assistance and diagnosis and treatment of common ailments, mental health counseling, pharmacy, and health education and promotion activities. Provides suboxone based opiate replacement therapy for clients with opiate use disorder as clinically appropriate.

Minors that do not want their parents to know they are using birth control may apply for Family Planning Only.  Their parents' insurance will not be billed. Health Education can include individual and group education programs that cover: - diabetes and asthma self-management education; - high blood pressure; - cholesterol; - smoking cessation; - basic weight management; - HIV pre- and post-test counseling; - Sexually Transmitted Infections information and more. Also offers a Nurse Advice Line available 24 hours daily.

Provides confidential screening, treatment and counseling for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV.   Family Planning, Reproductive Health Care & Women's Health Primary medical care providers, family medicine pregnancy care physicians, and midwives provide a number of reproductive health and women’s health care, including: -  Birth control counseling and prescriptions -  Regular gynecological exams -  Pregnancy testing -  Sexual health   Gender-affirming Care Medical care providers can prescribe and help patients manage hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for female to male and male to female. They can also make referrals to transition-related services including gender confirmation surgeries and non-surgical services such as hair removal.
