Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) is a community based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive health care services to residents of Kitsap County. Offers quality low-cost care for children and adults. Medical care includes health check-ups and screenings to help catch issues before they become serious.   Well-child checks Vaccinations Pharmacies at 5 locations Substance Use Disorder support, including Medication for Opioid Use Disorder, such as addiction to fentanyl Teams can also help take care of specific health conditions, such as high blood pressure, asthma or diabetes. Provides confidential screening, treatment and counseling for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV.   Family Planning, Reproductive Health Care & Women's Health Primary medical care providers, family medicine pregnancy care physicians, and midwives provide a number of reproductive health and women’s health care, including: -  Birth control counseling and prescriptions -  Regular gynecological exams -  Pregnancy testing -  Sexual health   Gender-affirming Care Medical care providers can prescribe and help patients manage hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for female to male and male to female. They can also make referrals to transition-related services including gender confirmation surgeries and non-surgical services such as hair removal.

Provides pregnancy testing and emergency contraception to those that visit in person during service hours.  Also provides additional birth control methods by appointment.   Some birth control methods require a physical exam.  Also offers fertility awareness education.   If pregnancy test is positive, provides pregnancy options education.

Provides harm reduction services and wrap-around support for people accessing syringe exchange. Offers one-to-one exchange of clean syringe equipment, along with health education, wound care, and naloxone for overdose prevention. Includes Hepatitis C and HIV screening with referral for care, family planning services such as birth control counseling, contraception (Depo-Provera), emergency contraception, and pregnancy testing. Also helps with Medicaid enrollment and provides referrals for primary care, dental care, substance use disorder treatment, medication-assisted treatment, and other community services.

Offers a full range of healthcare services for women, including primary care, obstetrics, and women's imaging (mammography, ultrasound, bone density screening).. Services can include: - family medicine, - obstetrics, - internal medicine, - adolescent care, - acute care, - geriatrics, - physical exams, - family planning, - in-house laboratory services. Health Education can include individual and group education programs that cover: - diabetes and asthma self-management education; - high blood pressure; - cholesterol; - smoking cessation; - basic weight management; - HIV pre- and post-test counseling; - Sexually Transmitted Infections information and more. Also offers a Nurse Advice Line available 24 hours daily.

Treatment options include "wait and see," taking medication and vacuum aspiration.   -  Offers donor insemination, both intracervical and intrauterine, with fresh or frozen sperm. Visits are personalized to meet individual needs.

Offers women the following services: - An annual gynecological family planning visit that includes a pap smear - Office visits directly related to a family planning problem when medically necessary - FDA approved prescription birth control methods such as birth control pills, patch and vaginal rings; injectable and implantable hormonal contraceptives; diaphragm, cervical cap and cervical sponge; male and female condoms; intrauterine devices (IUDs); spermicides (foam, gel film, suppositories and cream); emergency contraception; tubal litigation (sterilization). - Very limited screening and treatment for STD's under special circumstances - Education and supplies for contraceptives, natural family planning, and abstinence   Offers men the following services: - FDA approved over the counter contraceptives including male and female condoms and spermicides - One session of contraceptive counseling every 12 months - Vasectomy (sterilization)
