Offers free family-style meals to all, but particularly low income and older adults. Each night of family kitchen is hosted by one of 9 different churches. All dinners are held at First Lutheran due to it's central location and commissary kitchen classification.
Offers free family-style meals to all, but particularly low income and older adults. Meals served the last 2 Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays of each month. We offer home cooked meals and socialization. Family Kitchen is made up of 9 local churches - each taking one meal per monthly cycle.

Serves healthy homemade soups, fresh coffee, and good company. Stay after lunch join in a game of cards or a lively game of pool. Soups are prepared by Brinnon Senior volunteers. This is open to the entire community. As of January 2021, soup is served only on Mondays, 11am-1pm.

Operates a youth center for kids from 4 years old through High School.
Operates a youth center for kids from 4 years old through High School providing mentorship, after-school tutoring, hair salon, bible studies, and music classes, among other things (see website). For the younger kids, daily activities include reading time, color or art activities, games, Bible story time, and snacks/meals. The older kids' daily activities include homework tutoring; game room with Nintendos, Playstations, and foosball; pool; daily Bible study, and snacks/meals. Extra incentive activities are also offered, taking kids bike riding, roller skating at Skateland, bowling, and going to the movies. The Youth Center also offers summer camp opportunities.

Shalom Ministries is able to turn cash donations into food for the hungry through their partnerships with Second Harvest and Northwest Food Bank, but thry also seek donations of food and supplies that the Food Banks are not able to provide. Volunteers are always needed to assist with free breakfast and dinner service.
