Mental Health Counseling services available to children ages 5-12 and adults at no charge. Counseling is provided by licensed mental health providers and clinical social workers.

Provides outpatient mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families with mental health needs. This program may include psychiatric services including evaluations and medication management which may include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and/or Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST). Offers the following: -  Individual Therapy: designed to assist in attaining the goals developed and identified on the service plan. The treatment services are conducted by a mental health professional with individuals and any persons who are natural supports in their lives. -  Family Therapy: services are provided for the direct benefit of an individual, with family members and/or other relevant persons in attendance. Interventions identify and build competencies to strengthen family functions in relationship to the individual’s identified goals. The individual may or may not be present. -  Group Therapy: services are provided to an individual in a group setting to assist them in attaining the goals described in the service plan. Drug/Alcohol Assessments Conducts an evaluation of people who abuse drugs and/or alcohol to determine the nature and extent of the problem and which may make a recommendation regarding treatment or may refer the individual to a specific program. The service does not include a centralized triage function within the community or a formal relationship with the courts.   Alcohol & Drug Information School State-approved instruction fulfills legal requirements for individuals court-referred to attend an Alcohol Drug Information School (ADIS). The educational, 8-hour course provides students with valuable information about alcohol and other drugs. The course is designed to enhance responsible decision-making with regards to alcohol and other drug use. Students are encouraged to explore the effects of alcohol and other drug use on themselves, their families and their world.   DUI Evaluations Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate treatment.   Outpatient Treatment Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires fewer than nine hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development). Length of service can be anywhere between six months to two years depending on the needs of the individual and/or court order.   Intensive Outpatient Treatment   Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires 9-20 hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development).   Counseling Provides counseling and mental health services to Apple Health (Medicaid) patients. Agency provides state-certified service(s).

Pend Oreille County Counseling Services provides mental health services to individuals who are residents of Pend Oreille County and the Spokane County Regional Support catchment area. This includes residents of Spokane, Adams, Ferry, Grant, Lincoln, Okanogan, and Stevens counties. Residents in other counties or states will need to access services in the Regional Support Network they reside. Accepts all referral sources and provide services for young children to geriatric age.

Integration of behavioral and biological approaches to medical psychological problems. Provides diagnostic evaluation, outpatient counseling and therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and medication management.

Provides out-patient services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults with behavioral health needs.  Services include treatment modalities specific to the identified disorder, as well as appropriate access to other program services. Offers both family and individual therapy for children and families. Helps children and families use their strengths to build resiliency and develop the skills needed for recovery. Wrap Around with Intensive Services (WISe): Provides comprehensive behavioral health services and supports for Medicaid eligible children, adolescents, and transition-aged youth with complex behavioral health needs, and their families. Program uses natural supports (such as family, friends, and religious leaders) and the professionals involved with the family in treatment so that youth can continue to live in their homes and communities.

Older Adult Services: complete mental health outpatient services are available to senior persons whether they are in a facility such as a nursing home or live in their own home. Medication Management: provides evaluation to help a consumer determine what, if any, medication is necessary. Prescriptions are written by a staff psychiatrist and staff are available to help monitor medication.

Adult Services: 32-bed licensed psychiatric hospital, 16-bed licensed residential, transitional jail diversion, assessment and referral, case management, counseling services, crisis services, desert hope: 12-bed substance withdrawal unit, jail services, medication management, program for assertive community treatment (pact), project for assistance in transition from homeless (path), substance abuser services, and supported living. Children's Services: individual and family counseling; medication management, which offers ongoing medication management for children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health disorders; and Lourdes Children's Day Program, which is an intensive mental health treatment program for children and adolescents.

Provides nine to 15 hours weekly of structured programming and therapeutic support designed specifically for women and adolescent girls facing significant anxiety and depression. Services are rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and include group therapy, individual therapy, family support and medication management. Each patient is individually assessed by DBT trained providers and reviewed by a board certified psychiatrist to determine the appropriate level of care. Clients may also participate in daily yoga, recreational therapy, art therapy, life skills and planning groups, tutoring and vocational support and meals.

The program is a structured, therapeutic program that assists in transitioning patients from an inpatient hospital setting or a as a standalone service to a more independent life in the community as well patient’s seeking an outpatient environment. The program is designed to increase and maintain the therapeutic gains individuals have made as patients in the hospital and to address mental health issues. It may also help prevent the need for future hospitalizations. Tailored to meet each individual’s needs and provides direction and tools that each participant can use in their daily lives. Curriculum provides life sills, abstinence-based coping skills, referral services, and peer support. This is a safe, secure environment conducive to recovery.
