FOCIS is a 30-day intervention for families of children who are experiencing a mental health and behavioral crisis. In-home and community-based services include mental health therapy, therapeutic aid services, intensive case management, 24-hour crisis on-call support, and care coordination and connection to resources. FOCIS is appropriate for children 18 years and younger and their families who require additional support to successfully transition from in-patient care.

The staff and volunteers support victims to become survivors of abuse through counseling, shelter, medical and legal advocacy; and methods of prevention and self-preservation, if prevention is not an option.

Most clients complete therapy in an average of 16-20 sessions.
