Provides advocates who offer emotional support and info/referral regarding reporting of the assault and available resources. Advocates accompany victims to the hospital and to court; assist clients in their interview with law enforcement officers, and serve as a buffer between clients and other agencies, and provide ongoing support. There are support groups for both primary and secondary victims. Groups are available for women or men.

Nurse examiner who is specially trained to provide care to sexual assault patients offers immediate, compassionate, culturally sensitive and comprehensive forensic evaluation and treatment, including the following: -  Crisis intervention -  Medical care for your injuries and protection from further harm -  Timely, thorough and professional evidence collection, documentation and preservation to enhance the ability of law enforcement agencies to prosecute -  Evaluation and preventive treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) -  Evaluation of pregnancy risk and prevention options -  Referral for follow-up medical care and counseling

Provides emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis intervention, support groups, information & referrals, and free confidential victim advocacy for domestic violence victims. Also provides free prevention and community education opportunities, including presentations, training, outreach events, brochures and other written materials.

Community-based counseling center provides a wide range of social, psychological, and readjustment services. Readjustment counseling helps veterans make a successful transition from military to civilian life or after a traumatic event experienced in the military. Offers Individual, group, marriage and family counseling as well as referrals and connections to other VA or community benefits and services. Vet Center counselors and outreach staff, many of whom are Veterans themselves, are experienced and prepared to discuss the tragedies of war, loss, grief and transition after trauma. Services for a Veteran may include individual and group counseling in areas such as bereavement, military sexual trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), alcohol and drug assessment, and suicide prevention referrals.

Provides consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a variety of issues that can impact emotional well-being. Includes treatments for: - Addictive behaviors - Aggressive or self-harming behaviors - Anxiety, worry, nervousness - Confused thinking - Depression, sadness, grief - Emotional problems, such as managing anger - Memory problems - Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) - Relationship problems - Stress from medical problems and/or pain - Troublesome thoughts or ideas PTSD Programs Outpatient PTSD treatment may include participation in weekly group, individual, and/or couples therapy sessions. Also offers medication management and specialized treatment for substance abuse, anxiety, depression and anger. In the course of therapy, Veterans learn coping skills to reduce and manage symptoms, they engage in wellness programs to improve their physical health, and they have an opportunity to process their traumatic experiences. Inpatient PTSD treatment addresses severe PTSD symptoms that interfere with Veterans’ safety or ability to function in everyday life. Veterans admitted to the program generally stay 1-2 weeks and receive medical care, medications for PTSD, group psychotherapy, and help with financial and housing problems. Offered at Seattle location Residential PTSD is for Veterans with PTSD who require a more intensive and supportive environment than can be provided on an outpatient basis. Veterans who live in a community where access to PTSD treatment is limited may also benefit from a PTSD Domiciliary stay. Veterans in the PTSD Domiciliary attend daily classes and therapy groups and may be prescribed medications. FOCIS is a 30-day intervention for families of children who are experiencing a mental health and behavioral crisis. In-home and community-based services include mental health therapy, therapeutic aid services, intensive case management, 24-hour crisis on-call support, and care coordination and connection to resources. FOCIS is appropriate for children 18 years and younger and their families who require additional support to successfully transition from in-patient care.

Provides 24 hour access to forensic medical exams and care related to sexual assault, child physical abuse or other crime related injuries. Clinic provides non acute medical exams for sexual assault and child physical abuse. All victims are seen by specially trained medical providers and social workers who assess need, provide support and information, and provide highly skilled medical care.

Provides live, secure and anonymous crisis support for victims of sexual assault, their friends and families over the phone or via the website using a secure and anonymous instant-messaging type format.   Rape and sexual assault victims communicate directly with trained crisis support volunteers.   Hotline can also connect callers to their closest sexual assault crisis center. In addition, the Online Hotline website provides a library of information about recovery, medical issues, the criminal justice process, local resources, and support for family and friends of victims.

Healthy Families victim services including DV support group, domestic violence and sexual assault support, intervention, advocacy, legal advocacy, emergency and transitional housing. HFCC also provides support, advocacy, intervention and legal advocacy to people affected by general crime.  

Provides child abuse and neglect prevention services, parent education and support, supervised visitation, crisis intervention, child care, and victim support.    Parenting classes are offered throughout the year, and satisfy the requirements for mandatory court-ordered parenting classes.

The purpose of the Crisis Support Network is to intervene into and/or prevent any action or anticipated action that may cause physical or emotional injury or trauma to any individual or family.  The Crisis Support Network provides free information and referral services to meet human needs as they relate to health and welfare, and includes crisis counseling, community awareness, and in-service training regarding child abuse and neglect, domestic violence and sexual assault.  The organization will refer, coordinate and communicate with other agencies, as necessary, to accomplish these goals.

Provides a safe haven for women and girls of any age who have been involved in commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking. Confidential day center provides food, clothing, laundry, hygiene items and showers, as well as the possibility of an overnight stay. Center also offers support such as free counseling and therapy, mentoring, support groups, transportation to medical appointments and court dates, life skill classes, GED prep classes, case management and referrals to other resources. Offers internships for learning job skills in administrative work, retail and coffee making. Also provides job referrals through partner organizations. Virtual appointments may be made with an attorney to assist with parenting plans, criminal record expungement or immigration assistance. Organization is faith-based.

Provides 24-hour free and confidential services for victims of sexual violence and those close to them. Provides sexual assault counseling available to help victims and their families heal from sexual assault. Offers medical and legal advocacy, support, and referrals for assistance from other agencies. Provides education to the community on sexual violence statistics and services as well as provide prevention activities.
