Provides a day center for families with children experiencing homelessness. Once a family signs in, they can sign up for showers and/or laundry and have access to kitchen facilities to cook food (family has to provide their own food).

Families can connect to Coordinated Entry if they haven't already had a conversation, or if their time expired on the Priority Pool (sign-in is at 9am, limited number of appointments, first-come, first-served).
A case manager is on hand to assist families with additional resources, including helping families to locate any available overnight shelter openings.
Access to the day center is NOT access to the housing programs. The permanent housing programs offered through the Family Housing Network still require referrals through Coordinated Entry.

The Young Adult Shelter is open 24/7 for young adults aged 18-24 years old. The shelter staff provide safe and secure overnight services as well as case management and housing resource specialists. All genders and identities are welcome as well as couples.

Serenity House's Enhanced Congregate Shelter ensures homeless single adults have a safe place to sleep. Our services include: 3 meals daily, shower access, laundry, lockers, housing location/counseling, weekly onsite medical and behavioral health treatment, medical respite program, and limited transportation to and from downtown Port Angeles. The shelter can accommodate well behaved pets, emotional or service animals, and adult couples. Sobriety at entry is not required. Shelter in place is activated during "Blue Flag" extreme weather conditions.

Overnight Emergency Shelter:
The drop-in center transforms into an overnight emergency shelter where young adults are encouraged to have a hot meal, do laundry, play video games, relax, and get some sleep in a warm and safe environment.

Drop In and overnight shelter services operate 24 hours a day, providing a safe and supportive environment for clients. During the day, individuals have access to meals, hygiene and laundry facilities, and dedicated case management. They can also connect with mental health and healthcare providers and access education and employment support services.
In addition to these essential resources, we offer emotional and social support through peer-led therapeutic activities. Clients engage in various self-care and skill-building activities, including video games as a form of relaxation, creative arts for self-expression, and life skills training such as cooking, financial literacy, and shared responsibilities like maintaining the shelter space.
At night, each client is provided with a private sleeping area, complete with a bed, lamp, and secure storage for their personal belongings, ensuring they have a safe and comfortable space to rest.
